Experience the real-life inspiration for the setting of the classic The Jungle Book with Monograms. It is believed that Rudyard Kipling placed the setting in the dense forests of central India, inspired by the wondrous Pench National Park, Kanha National Park, and the jungles between. Your 7-day Monograms vacation includes private guided sightseeing, a Local Host® in each city, private safari guide in each park, breakfast daily, 4 lunches and 5 dinners, private ground transportation, and superior accommodations.
Begin in Nagpur, “the Orange City,” with a walking culinary tour. Then, travel deep into the jungles of Madhya Pradesh. In Pench National Park, embark on two thrilling open-air game safari game drives in search of the elusive Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, hyenas and sloth bears. You’ll also visit a local potter’s village. Then, travel to Kanha National Park, and take two more safari game drives in search of tigers, sambar deer, panthers and wild boars. You’ll have time to relax at your lodge and soak in the ambiance of this beautiful land.
Travel to Bhedaghat, where you will marvel at the canyon and impressive Marble Rocks by boat, then take a cable-car ride for panoramic views over Dhuhandar Falls. Your Monograms vacation ends in Jabalpur, but not before you tour Madan Mahal Fort, dating back to the 1100s and still offering great views of the city below.
Between the transportation we’ve arranged, sightseeing we’ve included, and the hotels we’ve booked, the only thing left for you to do is pack your bags, cameras, and enjoy!
